This term in RE, we are looking at how belief is expressed through art. Today, class 4 really enjoyed their trip to the church with Mrs Mar, looking at all of the art work within the church and how it expresses beliefs and links to stories in the bible. We also had some brilliant readers! Well done class 4!

This week class 4 enjoyed science, looking at how the moon moves relative to the Earth and how the phases of the moon are created!

This week class 4 worked well in groups thinking about how Hindu key beliefs impact upon their actions.

This week, class 4 have worked hard in PE learning all about balance with Mr Battersby!

In DT, class 4 have enjoyed learning about and creating different levers and linkages ready to design their own toy!

Class 4 have enjoyed their current science unit of space. Last week we were using play-dough to understand the size and scale of the planets and this week the class have worked well in a group to recreate models and demonstrate understanding of how the Sun, Earth and Moon move in relation to each other.

This week, class 4 enjoyed celebrating interfaith day. In the morning they worked well will Miss Kerrigan exploring 'what would God see if he was to watch the world on TV?' and creating a news report. They also enjoyed their afternoon activity planning and designing a place of worship within a workplace for people different faiths.

What a jam packed week this week! This week class 4 have worked hard in science learning all about the stages of development in children and creating different tones and depth in art using different mediums. We were also lucky enough to get to go and see some chicks which we really enjoyed!
